Hi, I’m Sam. I’m a third-year Computer Science student at the University of Dundee, and I enjoy building things that mix problem-solving with creativity. I’ve worked on a range of projects so far, including a Spotify-based social playlist app, an AI movie recommendation system, and a sustainability-themed Minecraft plugin. Each project has pushed me to learn new tools and think more carefully about how software fits together.
I’m comfortable working across the stack and have experience with Python, Flask, React, SQL, and Unity. I like understanding how different parts of a system interact, and I’m always keen to pick up new technologies when a project calls for them.
Outside of programming, music is a big part of my life. I play guitar, enjoy recreating tones from bands I like, and experiment with music production. I’m also into strategy games and side projects that let me combine technical thinking with design.
At the moment, I’m looking for opportunities to work on real-world projects, learn from others, and contribute to software that’s genuinely useful or interesting.
